by the Mullahs)

Dead poet - very romantic (I guess....)

Roya and Benyamin - She is a doctor of family medicine and he
studied Archetecture. Really nice folks that we met at Hafez' tomb and
had dinner with.

Izadkhast is a very very old mud city that was abandoned in the 1960's
because of the stream undercutting the village.

"Esfahan is half of the world"
Tamerlane masacred most of the population of Esfahan in 1338 (a slight
misunderstanding on the price of a rug I think).
Shah Abbas made it his capital, and this big area (Emam Khomeini square)
was a big polo field. Fotos are from Shah Abbas' balcony looking out
on the grounds.
